The happy hour shot + beer for $11 is hard to beat! Not to mention the double cheeseburger really satisfies. This place gets the job done!

Excellent sports bar. Fast, friendly service. Saloon has numerous screens and accommodated fans of many college football teams on a busy Saturday.

Oh wow! So many places to eat, so little time! I needed to pick wisely and did I ever.... We were "snacky" (a word I use with my wife when I need more than a croissant and a piece of cheese) between wine and spirit tastings, and we wanted something casual, but lively. When we walked past Palisades Saloon, we saw customers smiling, and enjoying food, drinks, and spending time with one another. We knew instantly, this is our kind of place! Even though the place was full, we were sat in less than 5 minutes. Our waitress was at our table with water, napkins and cutlery within minutes of us sitting down. For drinks, we ordered the stout beer and hard cider. To eat, we ordered the cast iron skillet of Mac n' Cheese that included pulled pork, broccoli and picked onions. I equated the taste to a family picnics in the summer - delicious, flavorful and just plain comfortable. We added a burger - cheese perfectly melted, grilled red peppers, meat perfectly cooked and a fresh, soft bun. The final dish was the Diablo shrimp which I didn't eat, but there lots of "Wow", "UmmHmm", and "Oh my" going by those that did, therefore I know it was delicious. Our waitress and servers were on point and very attentive. They stopped by our often, but were not intrusive nor made us feel rushed. If you are in downtown Napa, and you want good food in an excellent environment, come to Palisades Saloon. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you Ivy for the great service! It was almost a full house, and the service staff worked together as a team to keep everything running smoothly. The avocado toast was amazing. The avocado was fresh, and the crostini was crunchy. The habanero oil was the icing on the cake along with the feta cheese. The lamb burger was melt in your mouth! Cooked to perfection with a crunchy crust. I highly recommend adding avocado. I also substituted the feta cheese for white cheddar. I couldn't put it down! Thank you Palisades Saloon service team and cooks for holding it down on a busy Sunday. I will be returning.

Yummmmmm!!!! Food was delicious and came out very quick. The service was nice, everyone really works together! Our waitress was super sweet and patient. Ambiance is very relaxed & a little old time feel (which I like). Lots of food and drinks to choose from! Highly recommend!!

Hubby and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to grab a bite and watch some football. We shared a burger and fries and each had a different draft beer. Beer was good and a decent price - the house drafts are $8 and others are $9. The burger was ok - not great, not bad. I didn't like that you had to order fries separately at that price. Lots of TVs around the room - the host was nice enough to change one of the channels so that we could watch the game we were interested in. Very casual vibe inside with high tops and long tables for big groups. All in all, a very decent spot to watch sports.

This is a pub in downtown Napa. We took a quick walk thru the Commons Market looking for a place to have a good Bloody Mary & breakfast. This obviously local hangout was the perfect spot ... because it was early and there was no live game at the time. Usually I stay away from sports bars The service was friendly and the food came out quickly I had a breakfast sandwich with bacon, fried egg & avocado. Side of home fries and some really hot peppers which I did not eat My daughter had friend rice with a fried egg .. she ate it all and some of my hot peppers We both really enjoyed a great Bloody Mary

Went for Weekday Happy Hour Food - 5/5. Chicken slider was crispy and juicy. The bread was toasted well to have a nice bite and the dressing helped soften everything. Bao buns were decent with tender pork, but it suffered from having too much going on. The teriyaki glaze clashed with the strong flavor of green mango and its crunch didn't mesh well with the bao bun. Pretzel bites were delicious being just the right amount of hard on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese dip was very rich, and the mustard added a great zing. Reuben balls were my favorite item on the menu being crispy, salty and savory. I'm normally not a fan of reubens due to their overpowering flavor but it was balanced well here and the thousand island helped mellow it out. Taco had fresh tortilla with very tender stewed meat. Service - 4/5. Welcoming atmosphere and prompt service. There was a mistake made on their part and they comped it with no fuss. Value - 5/5. Their happy hour items are very reasonably priced falling between $3 to $8. The portions are individually sized, which is great for trying out multiple items. Their beer and balls combo are of the best value with 2 reuben balls and a beer being only $8. Amazing happy hour! Parking - Street/Municipal Lot (Free)
